2nd Week of Hikeathon 2022: Same Old, Same Old

Started off the second week of August by hiking a trail that I have done several times before for Hikeathon. The Camino Portuguese in Lisbon, Portugal. I hiked to Santiago Spain from Porto in 2016, not for hikeathon that year, but just for FUN!  And I had done the section thru Lisbon for Hikeathon in 2015 and 2019. So here we go again....this week was all about hiking trails that I usually hike and not venturing out to do anything new. Maybe next week I will get more adventurous!!

Back home in Seattle I do another old reliable hike in Lincoln Park near my house. I did 2 miles criss-crossing the park.

opps stumbled upon a homeless camp

Thanks so much to Lisa S., Diane, Megan and Janet N. for their contributions this week!

Every year, WTA supports over 1,500 volunteer trail work parties across the state. And as the trail maintenance backlog on our public lands continues to grow, WTA’s work has never been more crucial.

or you can send me a check (made out to WTA (Washington Trails Association) or just a dollar in the mail would be very welcome. Thanks so much to everyone who has supported this cause in the past and hopefully again this year!
